Early Saturday (by thoughtful arrangements Karlyn and Kristin made before our Italy adventure began) ten electric bikes were delivered, instructions were given, and off we all went to visit:
Novello,
la Morra,
Roddi,
Barolo,
before circling back to Monforte--and before batteries needed recharging...about 45 km.
Fun to see how a little boost of electricity could allow us to do and see so much in one day: wine tastings, medieval centers and Romanesque churches, outdoor truffle dog university exhibit and excellent lunch at La Crota restaurant. Such a pleasure to climb all those steep hills with the bike's boost. A beautiful area.
