Finished the bike trip with a short, easy, mainly-downhill to Alba savoring our last Langue views and enjoying a stop at the Grindzane Castle...

Nice moments: Watching grandsons play the medieval games at the castle, eating lunch in a small courtyard within the castle, loving the downhill steep switchbacks and being passed by an enthusiastic honking group of about 200 Sunday scooter riders.

Alba specialties are truffles (high priced) and hazelnuts. Nice stroll around Alba after saying goodbye to and storing our excellent Experience Plus bikes at the hotel for later pick up.

Monday-Tuesday:
10 people, all their luggage, 4 bicycles caught the 9:06 train back to Turin. Marney and Bob taxi- transferred luggage to our lodging Terre D'Aventure Suites while others toured the Automobile Museum. Evening walk around the historic baroque center and Japanese- Korean food for dinner, having mastered the Italian menu over the week. Sorry to end this memorable Italian family experience...wonderful traveling companions all. Tuesday we flew to Toulouse, Karlyn and family took the fast train to Rome and Kristin and family enjoyed one more day in Turin before driving to Carcassonne to join us to bike the Canal du Midi.
Midst the beauty of vineyards on our final biking day we paused at a bit of highway art:
