With Vikram and Ashok Vasan we take
Tram about 1pm from Sintobin home in Anderlecht,
Train from South Station to Brussels Airport,
Flight on Brussels Airlines to Turin,
Bus from airport to Turin's Porta Susa train station, for
Taxi to Darsena hotel in Moncalieri. Arrival about 7:30, and
Walk to Lo Spago Ristorante
for 3 excellent pizzas
and 1 excellent salad.
Watch Belgium's world cup win over Japan.

Tuesday.
Awaiting the rest of our family's arrival and
the rental bike delivery, Bob, Ashok and I visited the Palazzina do Caccia of Stupinigi, a residence of the Royal House of Savoy.
Built as the royal hunting and celebrations lodge in the mid 18th century, it has been renovated and houses the
Museum of Art and Furnishings, some original to the palace, others added from local residences of that period. The ceiling and tapestry wall art is elaborate and decorative with themes of the hunt, animals, flowers, nature throughout.

At lunch our waitress made a delicious selection of Piemonte and other delicious Italian cheeses for Bob.

By 8, everyone had arrived, Experience Plus rental bikes had been professionally fitted by Andrea of Experience Plus for six of us (The Sintobin 4 drove in with their own)

and we were enjoying Italian cooking at Plaza 13--eager to begin our family bike trip # 2 on July 4.
